Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 3, 2026 Last Updated: June 3, 2026

Welcome to Veyo (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We operate the website https://getveyo.com/ and the Veyo Shopify Application (collectively, the “Service”).

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our merchants (Shopify store owners) and their end-users (shoppers). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

To provide our AI Visual Try-On service, we collect information from both Merchants and End-Users (Shoppers).

A. Information Collected from Merchants (Shopify Store Owners)

When you install the Veyo app on your Shopify store, we automatically access certain information from your Shopify account via Shopify’s API:

  • Store Information: Store name, email address, physical address, phone number, and Shopify domain.
  • Product Catalog Data: Product titles, descriptions, images, variants, SKU codes, and inventory levels (necessary to sync your catalog and generate virtual try-ons).
  • Workflow Data: Customer data or event triggers associated with integrations like Shopify Flow, Mailgun, or Mailchimp (if activated by you).

B. Information Collected from End-Users (Shoppers)

When a shopper interacts with the “Try-On” feature on a merchant’s Shopify store, we may process:

  • User-Uploaded Images/Photos: Images uploaded by the shopper to visualize clothing/products on themselves.
  • Device and Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Usage Data: How the shopper interacts with the try-on tool (e.g., clicks, time spent, selected products).

2. How We Use the Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • To Provide the Service: To process shopper photos, apply our AI models, and display the virtual try-on result instantly on the product page.
  • To Sync Catalogs: To automatically update virtual try-on assets whenever the merchant updates their Shopify catalog.
  • To Enable Automated Workflows: To trigger personalized email campaigns (via Mailgun/Mailchimp) or automate tasks via Shopify Flow based on try-on events.
  • To Improve Our AI Technology: To train, optimize, and improve our AI Visual Try-On algorithms (using anonymized and de-identified data only).
  • To Maintain Security: To detect, prevent, and address technical issues or fraudulent activities.

3. How We Handle Shopper Photos & Facial/Body Data

Privacy regarding user images is our highest priority:

  • No Long-Term Storage of Raw Photos: User-uploaded photos are processed temporarily by our AI engine to generate the try-on visualization.
  • No Biometric Identification: Our AI analyzes body shape and clothing alignment for the sole purpose of fitting garments virtually. We do not use this data to identify individual shoppers or create biometric profiles.
  • Data Deletion: Try-on images are cached temporarily for session continuity and are automatically deleted after a short period or when the user session expires.

4. Data Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell personal data. We only share information with third parties in the following scenarios:

  • Shopify Platform: We share data necessary to integrate seamlessly with your Shopify admin.
  • Integration Partners (Merchant’s Choice): If the merchant activates integrations, we send try-on event data to Shopify Flow, Mailgun, or Mailchimp to power automated email and marketing workflows.
  • Cloud Infrastructure and AI Providers: We use secure cloud service providers (such as AWS, Google Cloud, or similar) to host our infrastructure and process AI workloads. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (including encryption in transit and at rest) to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. However, please note that no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / KVKK Compliance)

Depending on your location, you (and your shoppers) may have the following rights regarding personal data:

  • Access & Rectification: The right to request a copy of the data we hold or request corrections.
  • Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): The right to request that we delete personal data.
  • Data Portability: The right to request the transfer of data to another service provider.
  • Withdraw Consent: The right to withdraw consent at any time where data processing is based on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at [email protected]

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our technology or legal requirements. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated “Effective Date.”
